First year Head Coach Rachel Rogers has a very hopeful outlook on the future of STJPII Volleyball program, stating, "(These girls) have come back (from the summer) in great shape! (They've) been working hard."
Coach Rachel Rogers brings a strong, faith-based coaching approach that seems custom built for St. John Paul II High School. In addition, the SoCal Native brings a Southern California Volleyball Experience and Knowledge that will not only benefit St John Paul II HS students, but will also help to improve the entire South Texas Volleyball landscape.

2011 and 2012 Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Head Coach at Pacific Lutheran High School in Torrance, CA.
2010 Girls’ Junior Varsity Volleyball Head Coach and 2009 Girls’ F/S Volleyball Head Coach at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, CA.
2009 Boys’ JV Head Coach at Canyon High School in Anaheim, CA.
Last year Coach Rogers served as an Assistant Coach along-side current Asst. Coach Ashley Gonzalez (STJPII Alum). A year of experience has strengthened the overall culture of the team and organized it's focus.
"We still have a lot of work to do, " explained Coach Rogers, "but we are almost over last year's hump. We just have to continue to stay focused on our own role, and trust each other."
The Centurion Volleyball Team is on track to improve last year's overall record of 8-21 and District Record of 0-16.
