Centurion Swimmers Head to State

The 2018 TAPPS Central Region State Qualifier is in the books! The following members are attending the TAPPS State Swim Meet in Mansfield, Texas this Thursday, February 8th . The following swimmers are entered in the meet:

Vivian Lyle - 200 Individual Medley, 100 Butterfly, 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay

Sarah Lee Sang - 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay

Darienne Parris - 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay

Annisa Maxwell - 200 Medley Relay 200 Free Relay

Isabella Rutledge - 200 Medley Relay Alternate, 200 Free Relay Alternate

Victoria Verdin - 200 Medley Relay Alternate, 200 Free Alternate

In the Regional Qualifier:

All of our swimmers swam as hard as they could at the 2018 TAPPS Central Region State Qualifier! Our biggest drop in time was from Joseph Norman with an 11.97 seconds drop in his 50 free followed by Bella Goronova with a 7.96 second drop in her 100 free! I am very proud of all our swimmers! Every swimmer tried their very best every time they swam an event. The results from the meet are below:

From the Alvin Swim Meet: Maximilian Kimmel had an amazing drop in his 200 free of 20.75 seconds and two swimmers - Maximilian and Annisa swam events for the first time - Maximilian swam the 100 back and Annisa swam the 100 breast. Maximilian also had best times in his splits for the 50 free and the 100 free during his 200 free. Annisa also had a slight time drop in her 50 back relay lead off and her 100 free. Awesome job!
