Centurion Swimming is Warming up for the Winter Swim Season

So far, the Centurion Swim Team has had an outstanding warm-up for the TAPPS Swim season at the Brownsville Fall Festival and Burnet Swim Meet. Coach Duvall has stated that she is "very proud" of her swimmers.

At the Brownsville Fall Festival, the two Centurion swimmers who competed, had the biggest time drop for the meet. Victor Barajas had a 6.46 second drop from his best time in the 200 free. Max Hanson also dropped 3.78 seconds from his best time in the 200 free! Both Victor Barajas (1550 yards) and Max Hanson (1850 yards) also qualified for letterman status at the meet.

alt The Centurion Swimmers also had a great meet at the Burnet Small Team Swim Meet with Katherine Garcia fulfilling the letterman requirement of 1,500 yards, in competition in a season. Our biggest time drop for the meet was Katherine Garcia in the 500 Freestyle - she dropped 2.07 seconds! Also, rookies Maximillian Hanson and Victor Barajas swim events an event for the first time. Max swam the 100 Butterfly and Victor swam the 200 Individual Medley.
