Centurion Football in Uniform for the First Time in 2015

The Centurion Football Team was in uniform at St. JPII Stadium for the first time last night. The team showed up in front of a full crowd for their first scrimmage vs. the Bishop Badgers.

The Junior Varsity team started-off the organized meeting with a great showing. If you were taking score, the Centurion JV looked very impressive scoring 3 touchdowns.

The Varsity Centurions sent everyone home with a great sign for the upcoming season. An absolute mid-field bomb was thrown by quarterback Jace Gaza and landed safely in the hands of receiver Sam Works for a touchdown. The enthusiasm that has been building over the off-season was justified by the players' efforts last night.

Their next matchup is an August 21st scrimmage in Freer.
