Centurion Power Ensures 7 Game Winning Streak

Ramos and Pullin Go Deep

Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX) falls 13-3 at the hands of the St. John Paul II Centurion Baseball Team to bring their winning streak to 7.

The St. John Paul II Centurions beat Cornerstone Christian on Saturday 13-3 at Cornerstone (San Antonio) in five innings.

The Centurions went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on a sacrifice fly by Jackson Pullin and an RBI single by Elijah Ramos.

St. John Paul II Centurions added four more runs in the top of the fourth. The inning looked promising, as Chris Sanchez doubled, scoring Brandon Deeb to kick things off. Pullin also added a 2-run bomb in the 4th, his first on the year.

The Centurions scored five runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Sanchez, an RBI single by Josh Ramirez, and a three-run home run by Ramos, his 4th long ball of the season.

Ramos racked up five RBIs on three hits for STJPII.

Sanchez and Ramirez also had 3 hits on the day.

Sanchez also shined on the mound, pitching a Complete Game for the Win, racking up 4 K's in the process.

StJPII Baseball will take on IWA at National LL on Tuesday at 5pm as they continue to push for a playoff spot.
