Centurion Baseball Kicks Off the Season Crushing SJA Brownsville By 16 Runs

The St. John Paul II Baseball Team sailed to an easy victory over Brownsville St. Joseph Academy 17-1 on Saturday

In the first inning, StJPII Centurions Baseball got their offense started when Jonathyn Molinar singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Centurions later tallied six runs in the third inning. Justin De Los Santos, John-Ryan Oliveira, Jason Gongora, Jackson Pullin, and Molinar each had RBIs in the big inning.

Ryan Mota led things off on the hill for StJPII. He lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out ten and walking zero.

Centurion Baseball racked up 13 hits in the game. Molinar, Pullin, and Alex Lerma-Palacios all managed multiple hits. Molinar went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead StJPII Centurions Baseball in hits.
