The St. John Paul II Boys Basketball Team continues to roll as they won the Woodsboro Basketball Tournament November 30-December 2 by outlasting a 16 team field. They defeated Robstown 45-44, Mathis 67-58, and Taft 74-37. The Black and Gold won their semi-final game against Kingsville 72-66 and down Ingleside in the championship game 53-48. The hoopsters improved their record to a perfect 15-0. Senior post Eugenio Garcia was named Most Valuable Player for the tournament while junior forward Hayden Seidenberg was selected to the All Tournament Team.
SJPII return to action when they travel to Annapolis Christian Academy to take on the defending TCAL Class A National Champions on Tuesday. The JV will play at 5 while the varsity tip-off at 6:30 p.m.
