Last week, history was made once again as Saint John Paul II High School entered it's first competition in Boy’s Power-Lifting.
The Boys and Girls team traveled to San Diego and placed 5th out of 12 teams.
The Centurions received 7 medals in the power lifting meet. 5 boys placed in the meet.
For the girls, Samantha Sullivan, had another strong showing. Currently, she is only 50 pounds away in reaching Regionals.
Victoria Adame also excelled at the meet.
Coach Andrade pointed out, "Currently we have 6 lifters that are very close in making it to Regionals, and
is very proud of the entire team."
The Centurion Powerlifters will travel to T-M this week.
