The StJPII Centurions Baseball Team took-down Oklahoma’s 5A State-Ranked Duncan High School with a score of 6-1 on Wednesday.
The top 20 ranked Duncan Demons came into the game vs St John Paul II High School fresh-off an 11-2 win over Taft, and a 12-0 win over Mathis.
St John Paul II was up to the challenge, getting things moving early. Jackson Pullin drove in one run when he doubled in the first-inning, putting the Centurions on top, where they held the lead for the remainder of the game.
Mark Castaneda toed the rubber for StJPII Centurions Baseball. He lasted for the seven inning complete game, allowing nine hits and one run while striking out two.
Centurions Baseball saw the ball well, racking up ten hits in the game. Julian Rangel and Ryan Mota both had multiple hits for StJPII Centurions Baseball. Mota and Rangel each collected two hits to lead StJPII Centurions Baseball.
